Carson Wentz Showing Progress (VIDEO)

Eagles fans are just now beginning to sober up after their team's dramatic win in Superbowl LII.  On Monday, the fan base got more good news - Carson Wentz is throwing again.

The quarterback shared an Instagram video of a workout in which he throws a football while wearing a knee brace.

Wentz tore his left LCL and ACL last year in a December game vs. the Rams.  He says he's "very confident" that he can return by Week 1.

The sophomore quarterback was having an MVP-type season before suffering from injury. He threw 33 touchdown passes and 7 interceptions on the season, helping his team gain the best record in the NFC.

Wentz also posted an emotional goodbye to TE Trey Burton, who left the Eagles to sign with the Bears.  Went calls Burton 'one of my best friends" and says Burton will "blowup" with the Bears.

After losing Wentz to injury, the Eagles turned to Nick Foles who eventually led them to a Super Bowl win over the Patriots. With Wentz back in the picture, should the Eagles hold on to Foles as a safety valve?
