Unnamed Baylor Players Separated From Team After Sexual Assault Allegations

Baylor head football coach Matt Rhule confirmed this week that two players have been separated from the program as allegations of sexual assault are investigated.

Rhule addressed the situation with KCEN-TV on Tuesday, which can be viewed above.

The comments come a month after a report claimed that an alleged assault involving football players and members of Baylor’s equestrian team was being investigated. The alleged incident occurred during last season.

Rhule stated that he could not discuss the specifics or identities of the individual players being investigated.

"I can't get into too many of the details on this specific incident," Rhule said. "I really don't know too many of the details on this specific incident, but I do know things have been handled the right way."
