Tiger Woods Tied For Lead After Second Round At Valspar Championship


Tiger Woods is within striking range of his first tournament victory since 2013.

The legendary golfer shot a three-under 68 during his second round at the Valspar Championship, moving into a tie for first place at four-under. This marks the first time since 2015 that Woods has led in a PGA Tour event.

Woods went bogey-less for his first 17 holes before dropping a shot on his final hole of the day. He has 9 birdies and 5 bogeys for his first two rounds.

Woods is playing in just his fourth official event since returning from a fourth back surgery. His last tournament win came at the 2013 Bridgestone Invitational.
