Clippers Trade Blake Griffin To Pistons

The L.A. Clippers have parted ways with arguably the most popular player in franchise history.

News broke on Monday afternoon that the team had sent star forward Blake Griffin to the Detroit Pistons in exchange for Avery Bradley, Tobias Harris, Boban Marjanovic and two draft picks. The Clippers also included Brice Johnson and Willie Reed in the trade.

Griffin was an All-Star with the Clippers for five consecutive years to begin his career. The versatile forward has struggled with injuries since, missing at least 20 games in back-to-back years and sitting out significant time this season as well.
