Cody Bellinger reaches base twice in debut, Dodgers beat Giants

The arrival of Cody Bellinger at the MLB level has stirred considerable excitement among the Los Angeles Dodgers' fan base. With a victory over the division rival San Francisco Giants in his Dodgers debut, things are already off to a positive start.

Bellinger went 1-for-3 and drew one walk while getting the start in left field. His first career hit came on an infield single in the top of the ninth inning.

Clayton Kershaw (4-1) picked up the win, striking out seven batters in seven innings with one earned run, six hits and one walk allowed. Yasiel Puig and Adrian Gonzalez each drove in one run for the Dodgers.
