Fans in San Diego not happy about idea of L.T. joining Chargers in LA

SAN DIEGO, CA - JUNE 18: LaDainian Tomlinson announces his retirement from professional football, after signing a one-day contract with the San Diego Chargers and being immediately released by the club, at Qualcomm Stadium on June 18, 2012 in San Diego,

Fred Roggin reported on Monday that Chargers Hall of Fame inductee LaDainian Tomlinson — possibly the greatest player in franchise history — will join his former team in a front office role.

The news was not received well in San Diego.

Although fans are understandably sore over the team's decision to bolt from San Diego to Los Angeles, one could easily argue that blaming a beloved sports figure over advancing his career is a reaction built on irrationality.
