Knicks release scathing statement on Charles Oakley

The situation between New York Knicks legend Charles Oakley and his former team continues to get worse following a bizarre evening at Madison Square Garden.

Oakley showed up to the arena Wednesday and was arrested after verbally abusing Knicks owner James Dolan, allegedly, and assaulting security. Oakley and the Knicks have both handled the situation with questionable tactics, a theme that continues on with the team released a scathing statement calling Oakley abusive and dismissing his side of the story 'pure fiction'.

Sadly, between Derek Rose going AWOL and Phil Jackson attempting to subtweet Carmelo Anthony out of New York, the latest fiasco is hardly the most prevalent example of Knicks dysfunction this season.
