If you've ever wanted to own a tank top through which a four-time NBA Most Valuable Player sweated so hard that his body would eventually stop working, you're in luck.
The NBA is auctioning off the jersey that LeBron James wore during the first half of the Miami Heat's loss to the San Antonio Spurs in Game 1 of the 2014 NBA Finals — a game you might remember for the air conditioning malfunction that created sweltering conditions leading to James cramping up and sitting out the game's closing minutes.
"I lost all the fluids that I was putting in in the last couple days out there on the floor," James told a pool reporter after the game, which he finished with 25 points on 9 for 17 shooting, six rebounds, three assists and three steals in 33 minutes. The jersey, of course, found more than its fair share of those fluids.
The going rate for this particular sweat-soaked slice of NBA history, as of 11:45 a.m. ET on Tuesday? A cool $25,000:
