Vancouver Canucks @Los Angeles Kings

  Home stand continues.

Kings were feeling great after their HUGE win on Thursday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs. A 3rd period come from behind nail biter that saw the Kings snag 2 huge points in their western conference playoff journey.

In the 3rd, (and SO), newly returned Jonathan Quick was nothing short of spectacular. Making one jaw dropping save after another. Including an absolute mind blowing stop on William Nylander in the SO to secure the win. I mean….check this S out:

MY GOD!!!! Right??

With Quick playing like this….if the Kings could score just TWO goals a game they would win more then they lose. Seriously.

The Canucks on the other hand, are reeling. Lost their last 4 and having trouble in all areas of the game. Have a look.

Looking forward to seeing Jerome Iginla’s second game a King now that the first game jitters are gone. Talking to him after the game…he’s seriously the NICEST guy you’ll ever meet. So friendly and nice. (and a nice smile too)…..WHAT??!!!

Look for Kempe to center a line, most likely the 4th. I like what Sutter is doing here. Will be exciting to see what he can do in that position.

As for the lines:

Iginla-Kopitar-Gaborik

Pearson-Carter-Toffoli

Lewis-Dowd-Brown

Andreoff-Kempe-Clifford

Forbort-Doughty

McNabb-Martinez

Muzzin-LaDue

Extra: Gravel

NOTES:

**Nolan and Shore were no shows are practice today. Both are “day to day”.

***Ben Bishop looking to get the start.
