Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Carl Crawford's double in the bottom of the 10th inning lifted the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 3-2 win over the Detroit Tigers.

Victor Martinez slapped a Kenley Jansen offering into center field to tie the game at 2-2 in the top of the ninth and force extra innings.

J.P. Howell (1-0) pitched a perfect top half of the 10th for the Dodgers to earn the win.

Joba Chamberlain, who struck out the side in the bottom of the ninth to send it to extras, walked Chone Figgins to lead off the home half of the 10th for the Dodgers. Phil Coke (0-1) replaced Chamberlain and forced Dee Gordon to pop his bunt attempt up into the air that was caught by Martinez.

Crawford then followed with a slicing double to left that got past Rajai Davis and rolled to the wall, enabling Figgins to score from first.

Crawford finished 3-for-5, Gordon homered and Justin Turner added an RBI for the Dodgers, who have won two straight. Los Angeles starter Dan Haren allowed one run on three hits with four strikeouts and a walk over six innings of work.

Austin Jackson hit a solo home run for Detroit, which saw starter Max Scherzer pitch seven innings, allowing two runs with eight strikeouts and a walk.
