Dodgers Are Reportedly Among The Teams That Met With Anthony Rendon

Arguably the best free agent on the market is being pursued by the Los Angeles Dodgers.

According to Buster Olney, in addition to meeting with the Rangers, free agent third baseman Anthony Rendon recently held a meeting with the Dodgers.

Some high-ranking club executives believe that third baseman Anthony Rendon will be the first of the mega-dollar free agents to come off the board this winter. Rendon has already had meetings with teams, including the Dodgers and Rangers, and before Rendon reached the open market, Washington made an offer in an effort to keep him.

The Dodgers early on this offseason has been linked to Stephen Strausburg, Gerrit Cole, Josh Donaldson and now Anthony Rendon to name a few.

Rendon helped the Washington Nationals win their first World Series title in franchise history defeating the Houston Astros in 7 games in the beginning of November. If this move does occur, this will allow Justin Turner to move across the diamond and play first base which he said he is willing to do earlier this offseason.
