We obviously know LaVar Ball is well known for saying things many people around the sports world tend to question him on. Today, he made a very bold claim that LiAngelo Ball would have been at the top of this 2019 draft class.
LaVar Ball told TMZ Sports that if LiAngelo Ball was going to be in the 2019 draft class, he would go #1 overall for sure. Here is LaVar explaining why he thinks that LiAngelo would go ahead of Zion Williamson:
"He ain't no big baller," LaVar said of Zion, who he claimed "can't hold a candle" to LiAngelo. "He's a Williamson. Williamson's ain't stronger than Ballers," he continued, while also explaining that he thinks Zion can't play like LiAngelo. "Biggest and the strongest 2-guard in the NBA right now. Ain't nobody built like him at the 2-guard. Nobody. 6-6, 240, can shoot the three, post you up, kill you. But, you going to see. You going to see."
LiAngelo Ball hasn't played in any organized sporting event since the launch of the JBA last summer which was created by the Big Baller Brand and as of right now, isn't up for the draft right now. But LaVar guarantees that LiAngelo will have an NBA contract this year.
