Dodgers Officially Name Clayton Kershaw Opening Day Starter

Any question on who would be the opening day starter for the Dodgers has officially been put to rest. According to Dave Roberts, Clayton Kershaw has officially been named the opening day starter for the 9th straight year.

Clayton Kershaw will now tie Felix Hernandez (among active players) with nine consecutive Opening Day nods.

Los Angeles will host the Arizona Diamondbacks on Opening Day this year on Thursday, March 28 at 1:10 p.m. PT. The matchup will likely pit Kershaw against his former teammate in Diamondbacks ace Zack Greinke.
