Kevin Durant: "I Have Nothing To Do With The Knicks"

For the last nine days, Kevin Durant has declined to speak to the media ever since the New York Knicks surprisingly traded away Kristaps Porzingis. After the 141-102 win against the San Antonio Spurs, Kevin Durant finally came out and spoke to the media after a nine day absence:

"I have nothing to do with the Knicks," Durant said. "I don't know who traded Porzingis. They got nothing to do with me. I'm trying to play basketball. Y'all come in here every day, ask me about free agency, ask my teammates, my coaches. You rile up the fans about it. Let us play basketball. That's all I'm saying. And now when I don't wanna talk to y'all, it's a problem with me.

Kevin Durant has been highly scrutinized the past couple of years because of his decision to join the Warriors. Durant after the season is a free agent and many people believe that he will leave the Golden State Warriors to join the New York Knicks this summer.
