Jimmy Butler Was Asked About Joining The Clippers

On Monday, the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 120-109 and have remained in the 5th spot in the Western Conference. Minnesota guard/forward Jimmy Butler demanded a trade weeks before the season started and had a list of destinations he wanted to go to. One of the places that Jimmy Butler wanted to go is the Los Angeles Clippers and he was asked yesterday by ESPN's Baxter Holmes after the game if he would still like to be there.

“No, I’m in Minnesota for the time being,” Butler said. “I’ll enjoy the sunshine for a couple days, and then if we go back there, we go back there.”

You [reporters] continue to ask those questions, but it’s not going to change how I go about the game. It’s not going to change how I interact with guys in this locker room. We’ll be just fine.”

Butler has played in 8 games in this season and is still waiting on some sort of word on his trade request.
