2017-18 UCLA Bruins basketball schedule unveiled

UCLA's 2017-18 men's basketball schedule was unveiled on Tuesday, with a handful of national TV games awaiting the Bruins this season.

The non-conference highlights include a season opener against Georgia Tech in Shanghai on Nov. 10, as well as a two-game appearance in Kansas City, Mo. for the Hall of Fame Classic. Pac-12 play begins on Dec. 29 at home against Washington State.

The Bruins will have at least 12 games broadcast by the ESPN family of networks, including the season-opening game against Georgia Tech in Shanghai (Nov. 10) and two games in Kansas City, Mo., as part of the Hall of Fame Classic (Nov. 20-21). Nine of UCLA's conference games will be televised by the ESPN family of networks.

UCLA will have four games nationally televised by Fox Sports 1, including home games versus California (Jan. 25) and Oregon State (Feb. 15) and road contests at Stanford (Jan. 4) and Oregon State (Jan. 18).

Three games will be broadcast by CBS, all on consecutive Saturday afternoons in the Pacific time zone. CBS will air UCLA's game at Michigan (Dec. 9), the Bruins' home contest one week later against Cincinnati (Dec. 16) and a non-conference showdown against Kentucky in New Orleans as part of the CBS Sports Classic (Dec. 23).

Pac-12 Networks is scheduled to carry 12 regular-season contests, including the team's first two home games in Pauley Pavilion against Central Arkansas (Nov. 15) and South Carolina State (Nov. 17). UCLA's games against UC Irvine (Nov. 26), CSU Bakersfield (Nov. 29), Detroit Mercy (Dec. 3), Montana (Dec. 6), South Dakota (Dec. 19), Washington (Dec. 31), California (Jan. 6), Colorado (Jan. 13), Stanford (Jan. 27) and Arizona State (Feb. 10) will also be aired by Pac-12 Networks.

In addition, the Bruins will host an exhibition game against Cal State Los Angeles in Pauley Pavilion on Wednesday, Nov. 1. That contest will be televised live by Pac-12 Networks.
