Colin Kaepernick's lack of an NFL job has evolved into a lightning rod of discussion as a lull in the offseason approaches.

Supporters suggest that he is being blackballed by the league after last season's national anthem protest. Critics claim he is simply not good enough to land a starting job, and provides too much baggage for a backup QB.
