Report: Steve Sarkisian leaving Alabama for NFL

TAMPA, FL - JANUARY 09: Offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian of the Alabama Crimson Tide looks on during the second half of the 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship Game against the Clemson Tigers at Raymond James Stadium on January 9, 20

Judging by recent developments, it is safe to assume that Steve Sarkisian's tenure as Alabama offensive coordinator will not be remembered fondly by the Crimson Tide faithful.

In Sarkisian's first game at his new post, Alabama fell to Clemson in the national title game. Now, according Adam Schefter, the former USC head coach is taking his talents to the NFL, where he will replace Kyle Shanahan as the Atlanta Falcons' next offensive coordinator.
