Major League Baseball's Iron Man talks with Daybreak about his motivation to keep the streak.

Cal Ripken Jr.: "I didn't have to work for a living like everyone else... Playing a game, your job is to come to the ballpark and be there to play. My Dad was on the team so I didn't have a chance to beg out in any ways because your Dad is sitting there watching over you. The right way to go about the game is to go there and say 'I'm ready to play'. And if the Manager chooses you, you play. It's that simple... And I never thought about it. The only time I ever thought there was any pressure to go out there and play, was in the record breaking year - where they were making plans and it felt like I had to get there because everybody else had made plans to celebrate it."
